I love aran knitting, and to be able to crochet that stuff…
I’m making this one for my gran:)
And I learned how to wind a center pull ball! It makes the knitting so much easier.
I’ve been wanting to try creating something in Tunisian crochet for awhile. I was going to make the cowl from the cover of interweave crochet accessories 2014 but I guess this is inspired by it.
I followed the instructions from a YouTube video in Italian though I preferred crocheting in the round, slip stitching on the wrong side.
I did short row crocheting for the thumb(if that’s a thing).
The fingers are crocheted with a smaller hook than the body because I wanted them really snug.
I hope I make the other one:)
Finally! After all those smoggy days of getting comfy on the bed and trying to complete all the pending projects, I can think of nothing better than sunbathing, a cup of tea and a book to get lost in.
…and designing aran knitting patterns, of course!
I found a great aran cushion on sale on etsy but no pattern was available…
I’m going to try it now:)
And looketh at that makkuro that sitteth in the dark:)
I started with a basic hexagon and stopped increasing when the base was wide enough, chained 6 for the handles and skipped 4 stitches on both sides, then 1 row of sc and another of sl st.
My feet are toast! They’re REALLY warm.
